Painting came to me late in life. The excitement of creating something from my imagination with paints and brushes is truly magical and it keeps me on my journey of discovery. Every painting is an adventure that takes me to places beyond my everyday life, where I am free to explore and create.
I love the unique qualities of watercolors. I enjoy the way colors interact with each other, the spontaneity of the process and the unpredictability of the results.
My goal is to take my paintings beyond simply describing the subject matters. I want to create a mood and a narrative about the subjects for the viewers to share my sense of fascination and joy.
